The Plight of the Middle Class

Money for Nothing                          images

The outcome of the Australian Federal Election was finally resolved after weeks of counting. As in the recent post “Remind Me Again”, it would seem a large percentage of the Australian people were in two minds and quite undecided in which way to vote. Potentially the indecision was based on which party was going to “rip you off” the least. Or subject to your disposition, which party would give you more for doing little to advance yourself ? Interpreted as “which party will increase my perceived right to be compensated for my own personally created inadequacies.”

Either way, someone has to pay – and it’s not the Government, they don’t actually have any money.

And that’s the modern day plight of the middle class.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    images copy 3

After posting “Negative Gearing,Private Health Insurance,Solar Power and Superannuation” We received the following via Email and thought it very relevant and worth sharing.

It’s a bit of tongue twister, so read it slowly to follow the thread and of course enjoy – RD

“The people who are getting the free stuff don’t like the people who are paying for the free stuff, because the people who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.

And the people who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop.

But the people who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now… The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING
the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff are being mean, discriminatory, prejudiced, and racist.

In today’s modern world, technology has made almost generic professional viagra all foods that are consumed very refined and processed. You need to consume cabbage regularly. low price viagra Today everyone wants to buy viagra sale https://www.unica-web.com/watch/2016/fling.html because it is cost effective and works just like its branded counterpart. The disorders are like premature ejaculation which means when the man is totally sexually active and when he is done having sex, the erection goes away. discount generic viagra is not a hormone or aphrodisiac so it should not be used to increase sexual drive. So… The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to dislike the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff after giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now MORE people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff .

All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded.
The reason?

The voters figured out they could vote themselves money $$$$$ from the Treasury by electing people who promised to give them that money in exchange for electing them. This is known as the “ What’s in it for me” syndrome.

We, here in Australia, are a young nation compared to others….BUT….

Already the number of people now getting free stuff almost outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff.

No one gets it or wants to get it!                                                   head_sand_oblivious_denial-100653797-primary.idge
Failure to change could create a basket case similar to that of the PIGS….Portugal, Italy, Greece, & Spain.
Just cross your fingers Australia doesn’t lose it’s AAA Credit Rating. We already pay $1 Billion a month in interest repayments on borrowed loans. That will easily jump to $2 Billion if the mentality continues and your kids, their kids & grandkids could be potentially consigned to a standard of living in free fall. Another economic basket case.

Think I’m kidding?                                                                                                                                                                   For ALL those demanding more & more free stuff…watch this space.

  1. Funny how the human mind works. Everything for nothing and nothing for everything. Except for the few lotto winners amongst us we have all worked for what we have. I have enjoyed my own life’s journey from where I was to who I am and regret nothing. For those who have there hands out try putting your hand out with something in it. This surprisingly will offer you more than what there is to recieve.

I am intrigued as to what the future holds with a prime minister who may actually see his term out. With my breath bated and my gasps in storage here’s hoping a strong few years ahead.
